In this next video from the Billingsgate Roman House and Baths team, which will premiere on 21st November at 2.00pm, we talk to Dr Rebecca Redfern of the Museum of London about her work looking at the skeletal remains of Roman Londoners. We talk about the scientific techniques that she and colleagues have used to determine the ancestry, diet, health and location where some Roman Londoners grew up. The results are complex but give us a better idea of the diversity of Londinium. There are diagrams of skeletal material in this video but there are no images of human remains.
