From the suburbs to the City

29 Aug

Escape the crowds of your local neighbourhood and adventure close to home on a FREE guided walk from the suburbs to the City of London.

Join expert City of London Guides leading walks from designated hubs in Camden, Islington, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Westminster and Lambeth. Each walk will take you along lesser-trodden paths, uncovering centuries of history, art and culture on the way.

When you reach the City of London you’ll have some free time to explore the ancient heart of the capital. You don’t need to travel to Italy to see Roman ruins or France to experience cafe culture. Grab a coffee in Bloomberg Arcade and watch the world go by, or marvel at the remains of the Roman Amphitheatre under Guildhall Yard.
